Acceptance of these terms

By accessing or using a RumseyLab website, application, or related service, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Eligibility

You must be legally able to enter into these terms in the place where you live. Some RumseyLab products may have additional age requirements.

Accounts

Some products may require an account. You are responsible for keeping your account information accurate and for maintaining the security of your login credentials.

You are responsible for activity that occurs through your account unless the activity results from a failure of RumseyLab's systems or security.

Acceptable use

You may use RumseyLab products only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not harm other users, interfere with the service, compromise security, or attempt to access systems or information you are not authorized to access.

Intellectual property

RumseyLab owns or licenses the software, design, branding, documentation, and other materials that make up our products, except for content provided by users or third parties.

These terms give you permission to use RumseyLab products as intended. They do not transfer ownership of RumseyLab intellectual property to you.

Your content

You retain ownership of content you submit to a RumseyLab product.

You give RumseyLab the limited permission needed to store, process, display, transmit, and otherwise use that content only as necessary to provide and operate the product.

Product availability and changes

RumseyLab may add, remove, modify, suspend, or discontinue features or services as products evolve.

We will try to avoid unnecessary disruption, but we cannot guarantee that every feature will remain available indefinitely.

Products in development

Some RumseyLab products may be offered while they are still in development, testing, alpha, beta, or another pre-release stage. These versions may contain bugs, change significantly, or become temporarily unavailable.

Pre-release products should not be relied upon for critical, emergency, medical, financial, legal, or safety-sensitive uses.

No professional advice

RumseyLab products are not intended to provide medical, legal, financial, or other regulated professional advice unless a specific product explicitly states otherwise.

Disclaimer of warranties

RumseyLab services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law.

We do not guarantee that services will always be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or suitable for every purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, RumseyLab and its owners, employees, contractors, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of, or inability to use, a RumseyLab product.

Termination

You may stop using a RumseyLab product at any time. RumseyLab may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users, enforce these terms, comply with law, or protect the integrity and security of our services.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as our products, business, or legal obligations evolve. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date and, where appropriate, providing additional notice.
